Electronics: Original Fender split single coil pickup with grey bobbin, and original wiring harness with volume and tone controls. Some solder joints appear to have been touched up. The pickups have July 1967 date markings; the pots were manufactured by Stackpole and date to 1966.

Cosmetic Condition: The bass has plenty of nice aging present; the finish has patches of haze on the front and back, along with heavy finish checking. The body has numerous small dings, finish chips, and scratches, with some heavier cosmetic wear apparent on the back. The neck is smooth and comfortable to play, and the headstock has some additional finish wear on the front and back.

Tech Notes: The bass plays well with low action and minor neck relief, and is currently set up with flatwound strings. The truss rod is adjustable, while the frets are narrow and fairly low with some light wear. The neck stamp serial number, and pickup dates all date the bass to 1967.
