Electronics: Original grey bobbin single coil pickups with 1966 date marks, on/off/on slide switches for each pickup, and master volume/tone controls. Some solder joints were re-done when the electronics were uninstalled and the body refinished. The control pots have 1966 date codes.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and is currently set up with 10s. The truss rod is fairly tight, but functions and has room for adjustment. The pot codes, electronics markings, heel stamp, and serial number date the guitar to 1966.
