Electronics: The pickup, pots, wiring, and jack are original. The pot codes date to 1965.
Pickup Measurements: Middle: 10.06k
Hardware: Original tuners, bridge, and saddles. The nut has suffered a crack and as a result a small piece of wood has been cut to fit in the slot and glued in place. The bass horn strap button has been removed and a flat head screw has been installed in it’s place. The pickguard is cracked at the point of the treble curve as well as on the bass side at the neck pocket and around the output jack.

Modifications / Repairs: -Non-originals strap buttons and screws. -“Willie Kent” name tag has been installed on the top of the body near the pots. -The nut has been repaired with a small piece of wood. This has been glued in place and is located under the G string.
Cosmetic Condition: This vintage P-Bass is in good cosmetic condition with heavy wear throughout. The finish has been worn away on the body from heavy play wear in many spots as has exposed the gold base layer. In addition to the wear on the body, there is significant finish wear on the neck.

Tech Notes: This P-Bass plays well with medium action. The original frets are thin and show moderate wear. This bass was previously owned by blues legend Willie Kent and is still strung with his tape wound strings. It is being dated to 1965 based on the pot codes, serial number, and neck stamp.
