Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with unbound maple fingerboard, dot inlays, and heel-adjust truss rod. The neck has been refinished, refretted, and has a non-original nut and headstock decal. The neck heel has a 1958 pencil date.

Electronics: Original pickup with replaced leads; the wiring harness has been fully replaced. Controls include volume and tone controls.

Hardware: The nut, pickguard, and knobs have been replaced. The remainder of the hardware is original.

Cosmetic Condition: The bass shows age related wear on the neck underneath the newer clear coat, including patches of finish wear and small dings around the headstock. The neck also has some light checking under the clear coat, and some small chips on the fingerboard from the prior refret. The body shows various light scratches and small dings, as well as some finish chipping around the strap buttons.

Tech Notes: The bass plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and is currently set up with flatwound strings. The truss rod is adjustable, and the wide frets are medium height with minor wear. The neck heel pencil date and serial number date the bass to 1958.
