Electronics: Original Fender wide range humbucker neck pickup and single coil bridge pickup, with 3-way toggle switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup. The pot codes date to 1973-1974, aside from the bridge tone pot which dates to 1975. It is possible this pot is not original to the instrument, and was replaced early on.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has aged nicely; the body finish is glossy with horizontal checking and numerous small dings and scuffs. The back of the body has moderate buckle rash, and there are patches of finish wear along the edges of the body, particularly at the treble horn. The pickguard has a split at the treble corner of the bridge, but is secure and flat against the body. The neck is glossy and smooth, and the headstock face has developed the orange patina common to this era.

Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and optimal neck relief; the guitar is currently set up with 10s. The truss rod is adjustable, and the frets are wide and tall with minor wear. The neck heel stamp dates to 1971, while the electronics and neck plate serial number date to 1974.
