Gibson 57 Classic Plus Humbucker
Since their birth in the late 1950s, Gibson’s famous “Patent Applied For” humbuckers have been considered by many musicians the ultimate pickup. Slightly overwound balanced coils, exactly like the originals that may have received a few extra turns of wire. They are the perfect bridge position partner for a ’57 Classic, putting just a little more of that edge forward without compromising tone. Each ’57 Classic features the same enamel-like coated wiring, Alnico II magnets and maple spacers as the original “PAF” buckers. The ’57 Classic Plus sound so authentic, Gibson even stamps them with a “Patent Applied For” decal on the baseplate. Two-conductor wiring and full wax potting eliminate any chance of microphonic feedback.
