Electronics: The electronics are original excluding the pickup selector switch. The selector switch has been replaced and is held in place by only one bolt because the new switch does not perfectly line up with the holes in the pick guard. This is not affecting the function of the switch and it is is secure. This guitar has three Single coil pickups, individual tone and volume controls for each pickup, a three position pickup selector switch, and a master volume control. The pots date to 1961.

Hardware: The tuners, nut and bridge have been replaced.

Cosmetic Condition: The finish is glossy and has cracks throughout. There are numerous cracks and checking on the sides of the guitar.
Modifications/Repairs: At some point guitar was converted to a double cut body by adding a cutaway to the upper horn. Later the upper cutaway was filled with wood and/or wood filler, the guitar was then refinished white over the top of this repair. An outline of this refilled cutaway is visible when looking closely at the body. The pickup selector switch has been replaced. The bridge has been replaced. An brass nut has been installed. The tuners have been replaced. The headstock logo is missing.
Tech Notes: This guitar plays well with medium action height and when setup properly with 9 gauge strings.
