Founded in Canterbury, England, in 1995, Atkin Guitars’ uses a combination of traditional techniques and a little modern technology to handcraft around 350 guitars a year, all emanating the indefinable qualities that delight, surprise, and inspire us even after decades as players.
The Essential D offers 100% Atkin tone – stripped down to the bare essentials! Each Essential D sports a North American Sitka spruce top and braced with pre-war scalloped bracing, all of which is baked in house here at Atkin.
