Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief; the truss rod is adjustable. The narrow frets are medium height with a few small divots present under the treble strings up to the fifth fret. The neck heel stamp dates to 1966. According to some sources the serial number on the neck plate can be dated to 1973. However, serial numbers are often inconclusive for this particular model and the Coronado was discontinued after 1969. Based on the 1966 neck date, we are calling this guitar a 1966.
