From Fender:
Well-known as a ‘secret weapon’ among producers looking to add depth and “glue” to a recording, the Bass VI is a go-to instrument when you need a little extra inspiration. The Journeyman Relic Bass VI combines the best features of the Jaguar and Jazz Bass into a unique instrument with one-of-a-kind feel and sound.
Explore new sonic territory thanks to the 30″ scale, pair of Custom Shop ’62 Jaguar pickups and vintage wiring and controls that includes on/off switches for each pickup and a bass cut switch. The two-piece alder body is hand-selected for its light weight and strong grain, as is the tinted maple neck with “C”-shaped profile. The Journeyman Relic lacquer finish lets the wood resonate more while granting it the look and feel of a battle-hardened veteran of countless stages.
