Electronics: Original Fender single coil pickups, with neck & bridge volume controls and master tone control. The neck tone pot appears to have been replaced.

Hardware: The strap buttons and pickup covers have been replaced. The low E saddle has a non-original Phillips head height adjustment screw. The treble corner of the pickguard is cracked as well.

Cosmetic Condition: The bass shows nice aging; the finish is glossy with light scratches and numerous small dings/chips along the edges of the body. The back has mild buckle rash. The pickguard is cracked at the output jack, but held securely, and the upper corner is missing. The back of the neck is glossy and smooth; there is notable finish wear along the sides/edges of the fingerboard.

Tech Notes: The bass plays well with low action and optimal neck relief; the truss rod is close to its maximum position, but the bass sets up and plays well. The heel stamp and serial number date to 1983.
