Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with unbound rosewood veneer fretboard, dot inlays, and headstock truss rod adjustment. The neck has a non-original brass nut. The neck has a green ink heel stamp, although the year digit is illegible.
Electronics: Original neck and middle grey bobbin pickups and original wiring harness, with 5-way blade switch, master volume control, and neck/middle pickup tone controls. The bridge pickup is also a Fender grey bobbin pickup, but the pencil date and materials is a mismatch from the neck and middle pickups. The year mark is also illegible, but the PVC insulated wire dates it to 1968 at the earliest; it is unclear if this is original to the instrument or not. The pot codes date to 1972.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows plenty of nice aging, with large patches of wear on the body as well as numerous small dings. The name “David” is scratched into the pickguard. The back of the neck is smooth aside from one ding behind the second fret; the headstock face shows some finish wear and checking as well.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and light neck relief, and is currently set up with 10s. The truss rod is adjustable. The frets are narrow and low with light wear. The pot codes and serial number date the guitar to 1974.
