Neck Details: Bolt-on one piece maple neck with unbound maple fingerboard, walnut skunk stripe, dot inlays, and headstock truss rod adjustment bullet. The back of the neck heel appears to have been sanded to adjust the neck angle. The original heel stamp is present, but faded and illegible. The nut has been replaced.
Electronics: Original humbucker pickup and original wiring harness with master volume and tone controls. The pot codes date to 1973.

Hardware: The nut and a few screws have been replaced. A jack plate has been added to the side of the body. The saddles have been notched, and there is some wear to their front edges which does not affect sound or playability.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage Fender bass has aged nicely, with scattered small dings, knocks, and scratches on the glossy body finish. There is light weather checking and mild buckle rash on the back, and the hardware has tarnished nicely. The back of the neck is glossy and smooth. There is a crack in the pickguard above the pickup.
