Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with unbound maple fingerboard, dot inlays, and heel-adjust truss rod. The neck has been refretted and the nut has been replaced. The heel has a “3 MAY 69B” stamp.
Electronics: The pickups appear to be original with plastic coated wiring. The pots are original with 1966 codes. The selector switch has been replaced, and solder joints have been touched up and redone throughout the harness (see pictures). Some insulation has been added to ground leads as well.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows moderate cosmetic wear, appropriate for its age. The finish is glossy with light scratches, patches of finish wear, and numerous small chips and other blemishes. The hardware is nicely tarnished, and the back has mild buckle rash.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and is currently set up with 10s. The frets are wide with medium height and minimal play wear. The serial number and neck stamp date to 1969. The pick guard has a pearloid underside as is common for Teles from this era. The guitar and case both smell slightly of cigarette smoke.
