Neck Details: One-piece maple neck and fingerboard. The neck is date stamped January 3rd, 1971. Original frets and nut. The bass side of the neck is straight with no tension on the truss rod.
Electronics: Original pickups, pots, and jack. The switch has been replaced (original is included in the case), and the tone cap has been replaced. Lots of solder joints have been touched up. The pot codes date to 1971. Three-position selector switch with master volume and master tone controls.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has aged nicely; the finish has yellowed with age, and has a few long checking lines on the back. There are a number of chips and scuffs around the edges of the body, most prominently around the output jack. There are two finish cracks extending from either side of the neck pocket as well. The neck is smooth with a couple minor blemishes.
Modifications/Repairs: The switch and tone cap have been replaced, lots of solder joints have been touched up.
Tech Notes: The guitar is currently set up with .10 gauge strings and plays well with low action. The bass side of the neck is straight with the truss rod loosened, notes ring out clearly up the neck. The serial number, pot codes, and neck date stamp all date to 1971.
