Neck Details: One piece maple neck with black dot inlays. 3OCT67B neck stamp.
Electronics: Original pickups, switch and pots. The pots date to 1966. The control cavity has been shielded with foil. Solder joints have been touched up and wires have been replaced. The bridge pickup has been wrapped in copper tape and electrical tape. This was probably done to cut down on hum and microphonic feedback.

Pickup Measurements: neck 7.2k ohms bridge 5.8k ohms
Hardware: Original hardware except for replaced nut and output jack plate. One of the four wood screws that holds the bridge down is broken off inside the body. The broken screw has not been extracted so there are only three screws holding the bridge. This is not affecting playability.

Modifications / Repairs: -The tuners were change to early Shaller’s but the original “F” tuners have since been put back on.
-The control cavity has been shielded with foil. Solder joints have been touched up and wires have been replaced. The bridge pickup has been wrapped in copper tape and electrical tape.
-The treble side corner of the bridge has been ground off allow for strumming close to the pickup.
-The guitar has been refretted and the nut has been replaced.
-The output jack cup has been removed and a metal jack plate installed.
-There is a small filled hole in the front of the headstock from an extra string tree that was installed at some time.
Case Details: Tweed hard shell case.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has heavy plays wear. The finish on the body is glossy with dents and scratches throughout. There is significant wear around the edges of the body. The back of the body has moderate buckle rash. The finish on the neck is heavily worn. The hardware is nicely tarnished.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are tall with minimal play wear. The serial number dates to 1967.
