Body Details: Three-ply 11″ maple rim. The pot assembly may not be original to this neck. It appears to be a pot from a later Gibson banjo.

Neck Details: One-piece mahogany neck with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. The neck has been re-fretted. The G string nut is non-original as well. There are tiny holes in the fingerboard that have been filled in at the 7th, 10th, and 12th frets.

Electronics: None.

Hardware: Non-original tuners, nut, and saddle with the original tail-piece. There is a small crack in the D string tuner button.

Cosmetic Condition: This vintage banjo is in good cosmetic condition for it’s age. There is minor play wear throughout with no major dings or scratches.

Tech Notes: This vintage Gibson RB-100 plays well with low action and optimal neck relief. The frets are tall and show light play wear. It has been properly setup and intonated in open G tuning. The pot assembly may not be original to this neck. It appears to be a pot from a later Gibson banjo.
